As an initial skeptic, Lana put me at ease and reassured me I was in control of whatever journey I wanted to take. What followed was a deeply relaxing and fascinating visit into my subconscious, which held secrets and clues I am still unravelling today.Esme B. · Life Between Lives
The space between lifetimes.
A journey into the interlife
Life Between Lives (LBL) spiritual regression is a deep hypnosis-based session that takes you beyond past life memory and into the space between incarnations — what some call the interlife, the bardo, or simply the place your soul goes between lives.
The methodology was developed by Dr Michael Newton, a clinical hypnotherapist who spent decades mapping the between-lives state through thousands of client sessions. His research, published in Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls, revealed a remarkably consistent geography: clients from vastly different backgrounds described similar experiences of returning to a soul group, meeting guides, visiting a council, and reviewing the purpose of their current incarnation.
The experience is not about faith. It is structured, reproducible, and grounded in a well-documented methodology. Whether you understand it literally or metaphorically, the insights that surface tend to be profound and enduring.
The Newton Institute
Lana is accredited by The Newton Institute (TNI) — the organisation founded by Dr Michael Newton to preserve and advance his work. TNI maintains rigorous standards for LBL practitioners: comprehensive training, supervised practice, and ongoing professional development. Accreditation means Lana has been trained in Newton's specific methodology and meets the Institute's requirements for ethical, skilled practice.
This matters because the LBL process requires a particular depth of skill. The session is long, the terrain is sensitive, and the practitioner's ability to guide without leading is essential. TNI accreditation is not a weekend certificate — it reflects serious training and commitment to the integrity of the work.
The arc of a session
An LBL session runs approximately four hours. It follows a structured arc, though every journey is unique.
Opening conversation
Lana begins by discussing your intentions for the session — the questions you carry, the areas of life you want to understand. This shapes the direction of the journey and gives your subconscious a clear invitation.
Past life entry
You are guided into a deep state of relaxation and enter a past life. This serves as the doorway to the between-lives state. You move through key moments in that life, experiencing it vividly and in the body.
The death scene and crossing
You pass through the death scene of that life — experienced peacefully, from a place of observation — and cross into the interlife space. This transition is often described as a release, a lightness, or a sense of expansion.
Exploration of the between-lives state
This is the heart of the session. Clients commonly experience meeting their spirit guide, reconnecting with members of their soul group, visiting a council of elders, and receiving insight into the purpose and design of their current life. The experience varies widely — some see vivid imagery, others receive impressions or a deep sense of knowing.
Return and integration
You return gently to waking awareness. Lana spends time debriefing with you, helping you process what surfaced and connect it to your present life. Rest and journaling are encouraged in the hours that follow.
Past life regression comes first
A past life regression session is required before LBL. The regression gives you experience with the process and opens the pathway that the LBL session follows. Without it, reaching the necessary depth within a single session is very difficult.
Many clients book a PLR + LBL package, completing both sessions over several days — especially those travelling to Puerto Escondido. This allows for rest and integration between sessions.

Patient, skilled, and present
LBL sessions require a particular kind of attention. The terrain is vast, the experience is deeply personal, and the practitioner must follow without leading. Lana's thirty years of practice — and her Newton Institute training specifically — give her the skill to hold space for whatever emerges, whether it is quiet or overwhelming, expected or entirely surprising.
What to expect
Frequently asked
Why is a past life regression required first?
The LBL session begins by passing through a past life and into the death scene of that life — it is the doorway to the between-lives state. Without prior experience of regression, reaching that depth in a single session is difficult. The PLR also gives you familiarity with the process, so you can settle in more quickly when it matters most.
How is LBL different from past life regression?
Past life regression takes you into the lived experience of another lifetime. LBL goes further — through the death scene and into the space between incarnations. Clients commonly experience meeting guides, reconnecting with soul groups, visiting a council of elders, and gaining insight into why they chose their current life. The experience tends to be expansive and deeply personal.
What if I don't experience the between-lives state?
It happens occasionally, and it is not a failure. Some clients have a rich past life experience but don't cross into the interlife space. Others arrive somewhere unexpected but equally meaningful. Lana follows where the session leads and works with whatever arises. The depth of the journey is not always predictable, and that unpredictability is part of its value.
Can I do LBL online?
Yes. LBL sessions work well online by video. You will need a quiet, private room, a comfortable place to recline, a stable internet connection, and four uninterrupted hours. Many of Lana's international clients complete both their PLR and LBL sessions remotely.
