Yoga, taught since 1999.
Not one style — the right style for you.
Lana does not teach a single school of yoga. Over twenty-six years, she has studied and taught across Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and restorative traditions — and what she offers now is shaped by all of them, but loyal to none. The practice is adapted to the person in front of her: their body, their experience, their nervous system, what they need that day.
For some clients, that means a vigorous flow. For others, it means slow, breath-led movement with long holds. For many, it shifts between the two over time. The emphasis is always on awareness, alignment, and what actually serves the student — not on performing a sequence or reaching a particular shape.
Yoga in this practice is not separate from the broader work. It supports integration after deep inner work sessions, helps regulate the nervous system, and gives the body a way to process what the mind cannot always articulate.

Three ways to practise.
Private one-to-one sessions
Individually tailored practice, typically sixty to ninety minutes. Ideal for those working with injuries, specific goals, or integrating alongside inner work sessions. Available in person in Puerto Escondido or online by video.
Group classes in Puerto Escondido
Small-group classes offered regularly in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Classes are kept intentionally small — usually no more than eight students — so that Lana can adjust and attend to each person. Open to all levels.
Retreats and workshops
Occasional multi-day programmes that combine yoga with breathwork, bodywork, and reflective practice. These are typically held in Puerto Escondido and announced in advance. Enquire for upcoming dates.
Beginners, experienced practitioners, and everyone between.
You do not need to be flexible, fit, or experienced. Many of Lana's students come to yoga for the first time in their forties, fifties, or sixties — often after years of thinking it was not for them. Others have practised for decades and are looking for depth, subtlety, or a more personalised approach.
Yoga is also particularly valuable for clients working through past life regression or life between lives sessions. The body holds what the mind processes, and a steady physical practice gives that process somewhere to land.
A first session.
Your first session begins with a conversation — about your body, your history with movement, any injuries or limitations, and what you are hoping for. From there, Lana builds a practice around you. There is no fixed script. You will be guided through each posture with clear instruction and gentle correction, and encouraged to notice what you feel rather than push through it.
Wear comfortable clothing. Mats and props are provided for in-person sessions. For online sessions, you will need a clear floor space and a stable video connection.
