Plant-based nutrition and natural wellness.
Food as foundation, not prescription.
Lana's approach to nutrition is plant-forward, informed by decades of personal practice and study in vegan and raw food preparation. She believes that what you eat is not separate from how you feel — and that sustainable changes to diet and lifestyle can profoundly support the nervous system, energy levels, digestion, and overall wellbeing.
This is not clinical nutrition. It is practical, experience-based guidance rooted in a plant-based philosophy — adapted to where you are now, not where a textbook says you should be. Lana works with each client individually, taking into account their current diet, health picture, lifestyle, preferences, and readiness for change. Some clients are already vegan and want to deepen their practice. Others are simply curious about eating more plants. Both are welcome.
The emphasis is always on nourishment rather than restriction. On building sustainable habits rather than following rigid protocols. On food that tastes good, supports the body, and fits into the life you actually live.
How the work is structured.
Initial consultation — 90 minutes
A thorough conversation about your current diet, health history, energy patterns, digestion, sleep, and goals. Lana listens carefully before offering any guidance. You will leave with a clear, personalised set of recommendations — practical changes you can begin immediately, not an overwhelming overhaul.
Follow-up sessions — 45 to 60 minutes
Check-ins to review progress, adjust recommendations, troubleshoot challenges, and deepen the work. Follow-ups are typically spaced two to four weeks apart, depending on your pace and preferences. The goal is steady, lasting change — not short-term compliance.
Packages available
For clients who want sustained support, Lana offers multi-session packages that combine the initial consultation with a series of follow-ups over several months. These provide structure and accountability without rigidity. Details are available on enquiry.
Vegan food prep guidance for visitors.
Many of Lana's clients travel to Puerto Escondido for in-person sessions — sometimes staying for several days or weeks. For those clients, Lana offers practical guidance on plant-based food preparation: how to source ingredients locally, simple recipes suited to the climate and what is available, and hands-on support in preparing nourishing meals during your stay.
This is not a cooking class in the formal sense — it is more like having a knowledgeable friend show you around the local markets and share what she has learned about eating well in this part of Mexico. It is particularly valuable for clients who are new to plant-based eating or who want to maintain their dietary practice while travelling.
